Memorial Weekend

This weekend was so fun. We were going to go camping, but figure it'd be really crowded. It was really relaxing, just hanging out.
Friday night we went to one of my favorite restaurants with some of my favorite people!

Yummy food! After we met up with some of our friends and went and got sno-cones, (Tay's OBSESSED with them, he eats waaay more than he should!) and watched a movie. (I honestly can't even remember which one, I fell asleep that fast!)

Saturday was cleaning day. I ran some errands and kinda managed to get some laundry done. Had to stop quite often because Harley has a new obsession with dryer sheets. With every load coming out of the dryer she was so excited the chew on the dryer sheet and shred it into a million pieces all over the house.
Silly girl!
She came with me to run some errands and looked so funny in the car. I had to take a picture. Usually she insists on riding right on my lap and putting her paws up the steering wheel like she's driving, and looking out the window. (REAL safe, I know!) But Saturday she was really tired and just settled for shotgun.

Sunday we went to Jordon Fiack's farewell. It was really good, he did a great job. Afterwards we hung out at their house and then went to dinner at my parents house. My little sisters wanted to sleep over so we turned on a movie and as always, all were passed out in about 20 minutes. (Sleepovers at our house are WILD!)

Monday morning Tay took us all to breakfast at Village Inn. (PS - Going out for breakfast while on Weight Watchers is not very fun. Wheat toast, DRY, 2 egg whites, and little cup of fruit doesn't exactly hit the spot. Haha. Oh well.)
After breakfast we met up with Mika and Janesssa and laid out at the pool. It was really warm but cloudy. Hopefully next time it'll be a little better. But it was fun just relaxing and talking.

That night we BBQ-ed at grandma's house. Good food, and again, NOT easy on Weight Watchers! Haha.
It was such a fun weekend. Too short!! Definately ready for the next holiday!! And camping!!

OH! And PS, Harley lost her first tooth on Sunday! :o)

My little girl's growing up... lol

Weight Watchers - Here I come!

Yesterday I made the big brave move to start...

I'm super excited about it! A lot of my friends and family have done it and it's been really good. I don't need to lose a TON of weight, but I do wanna get back down to what I was in high school. Also it'll help me with portions so I'm super stoked.

So far it hasn't been bad, (only one day I know!) I just am feeling a little nautious. But I heard that's normal for the first week or so because my tummy is shrinking. Yay for shrinking!
Anyways, I'll keep ya'll posted about how it goes.
Two months til Lake Powell...I CAN DO THIS!!! :o)

Summer is coming!

So I've had quite a bit of stuff going on that I haven't blogged about yet. So today will kinda sum up the last week and a half. Sorry bout that...

Almost every Monday night we hang out with my family. Kind of a relaxed "Family Home Evening" we call it. It usually consists of dinner at a yummy restaurant and then something fun like bowling or a movie. Last week we went to the Bee's game. It was the most exciting game I've been to. The score was tied at 5 and it was the bottom of the nineth. We had a guy on first and third, so they walked the guy up to bat on purpose, so that the bases would be loaded and home would be a forced out. Well our guy on first was leading off and the pitcher threw it to get him out, and their first baseman was over by second waiting for the hit. Of course the ball just whizzes by to no one, and ALL our guys go running in! It was so funny. Never seen a game won like that. My dad is super excited to be there. Little brother on the other hand....not so much :o) My yummy dinner. ($12 if you were wondering...) Lil sista and her friend

Tuesday, Tay and his buddies started a new game. They're gonna meet each week and play football. So I took Harley to run while the boys played. Well that didn't work out so well on account of spring showers. :o( So we sat in the truck and Harley played with a cone. Lol. Just watchin daddy She wanted to go play so bad The boys I've never uploaded a video before, but I'm gonna try. Harley was hilarious playin with her cone! So hopefully this works....

Saturday night was girls night for Janessa's birthday! We went to Red Robin for dinner and then back to her house to see her cute puppy, Dodge.

We were going to see "Letters to Juliet," but it was sold out, so we went back to Mika's and just talked and laughed out guts out!! I seriously had sore abs the next day from how much laughing we did. It was such a blast, I love girls nights!!

Well that's our week in a quick summary. I'm so excited that it's getting warmer, there's so many things to do outside, especially now that we have Harley. We're planning some sort of camping trip over the Fourth of July and for Tay's birthday so hopefully she'll get to come along!

Yay for summer!!

Race for the Cure!

Last Saturday we went with Jason and Mika and about 600,000 other people downtown for the Breast Cancer Walk. Mika's mom has been battling it for 19 years! She's such an amazing woman and we love her like she's our own!! Seriously, never met a stronger person! So we wanted to support her. She had some cute shirts made, over 100!!, and sold every single one! There were so many people that came out and supported her! It was a such a blast, and both Tay and I's (or my?) first time going. Here's some pics we took:

After the walk, it's tradition to go out to breakfast after, so we met up with a group at IHOP.

Later that night, they had a big BBQ at their friends, The LaPoints house. (LaPoint Ford? Tom LaPoint? Yep. Their house was unreal!!) There was so much good food and TONS of people there!

Before we had gone to the BBQ, Taylor had the idea to make Monica a collage (since she loved the one I made Mika) of the pictures from the race that morning. It was a lot of work, but it was totally worth it! She made me cry!! She was so happy when she saw it and it made us feel so good.

Thank you so much Monica for being a part of our lives! You've inspired us in so many ways!! We love you soooo much! xo

Hey batter batter....

One of my favorite things about warm weather is going to Baseball games! Growing up we've always been to Bee's games, my little brothers games, and now my cousins. The first game of the season is always exciting, and it was even more fun this time because it was Harley's first game! She loved it! She loved all the grass, running around, and watching all the kids. She got so much attention from strangers and she was loving that too!
One thing (that kinda makes me sound like a fat kid) I gotta say, is that baseball parks always have THE best food! Hot dogs, sno-cones, french fries, you name it! So of course we had to load up with the works.
After the game (which we won by the way) we went back to my aunt and uncle's and hung out and watched a movie. It was such a fun night, we always love hanging out with Nat and Tim. Here's a couple pics from the game:

Just watchin with Dad

Harley's favorite stick from the park. She even brought it home with her!

All worn out after the game

Harley

So we got another puppy!!
Last Wednesday, I was begging Taylor to go to the petstore. Not to buy, but just to look. I thought it'd be a good idea to talk to someone about which breed would be good, (since we couldn't agree on one) and just see what kinds of puppies they had. Well the second we saw her we both fell in love. She was so playful and cute. The lady at the pet store came over and said, "Oh she is the cutest puppy, you HAVE to play with her. Her personality is sooo adorable!" So they let her out and she was so funny! We sat there and played with her for about an hour. Other people in the pet store would come over and call her to pet her, and she ran behind our legs and wouldn't leave our side. It was so cute! We knew that she was the one and had to have her. Taylor was acutally more attached that I was!

We've had her almost a week now and are loving every second of it! She's so fun and everyone that meets her loves her! She's already a very spoiled girl, but it's all worth it! We can't wait to take her camping and fishing! This summer is going to be a blast!
Love you Harley!! xo
