Danielle's First Performance

Last weekend was the first Riverton Football game and Danielle's first drill performance. So we went with uncle Chad and his kids, and my parents to watch. I was too lazy to get closer, so the pictures aren't the best. But you get the idea. :o)

Good job Dani! Love you!

Lake Powell - Part 2

Here's the rest of our fabulous vacay!

The rest of the day we played with the floaties and on the slide. You kinda had to be there for all the laughs but you might be able to get a little from pictures.

There was a really cool rock/cliff thing that me, Nessa and Mika hiked up. It was scary intense but so pretty!

Next, Janessa and I went for another little, kayak adventure while Mika went Jetskiing. We found a little rock/island that we claimed our own, deciding which places were where, and laughing our heads off!

This we dubbed the 'bathroom.' :o) It's crazy how many pictures there are of me peeing this trip!

We thought we'd never make it back and decided to come up with a good story in case someone found our bodies. So we left evidence on the camera of what looked like a good death story.

Day 5 - Wednesday
Today was Star Wars Day! Each year there is a theme at Lake Powell. They put on all kinds of cute things for the kids: games, relay races, treasure hunts, etc. We started off the morning wakeboarding (which we did almost every morning at 6AM, I"m just leaving it out).

It was a relax day again. So nice! We layed out, watched movies, played games, and snacked on nachos, cookies, fruit snacks, and grilled cheese! Love it!

Here's pictures of our Star Wars fun that day!

One of the relays involved getting on your star...tron? (I have never seen Star Wars in my life and I don't remember the name. But it's the little flyer car things they drive.) and putting shaving cream on your head and fly back. It was quite the intense game, and we lost by just a smidge!

That night we had a Darth Vader pinata and a dance party. Caution: these pictures are horribly ugly.

Day 6 - Thursday
Our last real day to do much, we decided to go cliff jumping. We found an awesome spot and had so much fun, the adrenaline is crazy!

After cliff jumping we decided to go tubing. Three man tubes scare me a little, so we made Jason drive REALLY slow. Hehe. But we had a blast.

It seemed the whole trip Janessa kept getting little bumps and bruises from all the different water sports. It was kind of the joke of the trip. Well, her and Allison were on the tube with arms criss-crossed over each other and on a huge wave, they flew up and off. Allison thought she had lost some teeth, but they were all there. Then we looked down and Nessa had a big chunk taken out of her arm, and what looked like teeth marks! Needless to say, Allison bit her in the air and now we're pretty sure she's meant to be a vampire. :o)

Saturday was Mika's real birthday, but we celebrated it on our last night on the boat. Tami had it all done up cute with party hats, silly string and funfetti cake! Yum!

Day 7 - Friday
Our last day! :o( We had to take the houseboat back to the marina because after we left, there wouldn't be any boys left to do all the work. Also, it worked out well because the pottys filled completely up! That's right. 180 gallons of crap. Soooo our lucky husbands got to empty the tanks, while us girls layed out on the top. Poor boys!

After loading everything up in the truck, we stopped for one last ice cream cone.

Driving home we stopped in Hanksville. It's a little town with the best burger/shake place called Stan's. It took us longer to get there, poor Janessa and Ryan had a flat tire so we had to go 50mph the whole way. But luckily they were able to buy a tire in Hanksville, and the shakes were definately worth the wait!

We had such a great trip and are so lucky we have such great friends! Thanks Jason and Mika for inviting us again, and for his family making us feel welcome. And I'm so glad Nessa and Ry were able to come, it made it even more fun! Crazy drama makes for crazy times! :o)
In case you aren't sick of pictures yet, here's a few more randoms from the trip. Enjoy!
