Edward Scissorhands beat me up...

So I did it again. I chopped off my hair. Last week, it was just bugging me and kind of at an inbetween length. I know Tay loves short hair, and I had been looking online at pictures. I found this one, and thought it was pretty cute.

Tay said he loved it, and I re-assured him that if I went into the salon, I would NOT come out looking like that. He laughed and so I just went in the next day. I didn't really tell anyone I was doing it.

Here's a horrible before shot. Just took it out of a ponytail, so it's super messy, but I needed to show the final length.

And, the after shot. Dun, dun, dun................

FIVE INCHES BABY!
(I know it's a cheesy "Myspace" picture of myself, but no one was home to take it. Lol!)

Anyway, at first I cried. And hated it. Like always. But it grew back last time, so I am feeling slightly more confident this time.
I still don't love it, but it's at least okay now. I don't cry when I wash it, and have gotten lots of compliments so I guess it's alright. I think in another couple inches I'll be loving it.

Halloween Part 2

Since Halloween was on a Sunday this year, we all dressed up Friday at work. It was so fun and the Dr's were such good sports about it. Angie and I totally didn't plan our outfits matching.

Friday night we went to Tay's parents to carve pumpkins. This one was much more successful. I actually had the time to sit down and really try. Haha. But everybody's looked so awesome! I think we've found our calling.

I did Shrek

Blaine did Darth Maul

Kim did a Gremlin

Kristy did the joker

Tay did ET. He and Kim actually ended up doing two, because they got so into it. They had to finish the next day, but it was fun.

Tay's #2: Freddy Kruger

Tay's mom did Golom. (I'm sure these names are spelled wrong.)

Ryan helped Carter do Stitch

And last but not least. Kim's number two was Edward

Saturday night we had all our friends over for a party. It was so fun. We planned to watch a scary movie, but like always, just talked and laughed and ATE! There were so many yummy treats. Here's a few pics from the night:.

The girls

The boys

And the pups. This was the best picture we could get.

Our cute lil family

The whole gang

Here's what we all do best.
The boys: Phone games!

And the girls: Munch on treats.

I love Halloween and am sad it's over. But now we get Thanksgiving and Christmas!! I love this time of year! Can't wait for more fun times.

Halloween! Family Style

This year's Halloween was so much fun. I've got to do this in two posts since we had two parties. And too many pictures. :o)
We got togther at my parents for the family party. We busted our butts to get the basement finished so we could watch the BYU games down there and have the party. This was the first year I begged asked the adults to dress up, and it turned out so awesome! The costumes were so cute and everyone had so much fun!
Harley was a lobster. And a very cute lobster.

Here's the whole gang:

And our little family:

And poor Jazzy had to be wear a basketball head and Kobe jersey.

We ate yummy taco soup and breadsticks, then carved pumpkins. Taylor as always had the best. He did the Mad Hatter. I tried a new carving method, just scraping the top layer of pumpkin away. Yeah.... didn't work so good. I don't reccomend it. But you can slightly make out Princess Jasmine's hair. Good enough.

I love our family get togethers and I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! :o)
